KMBA Rep and Elite Program Costs
Kitchener Minor Baseball works to keep fees as low as possible while still providing high-end training for our players. As a Panther family, you can expect your expenses for the year to include:
1) KMBA Fees – this amount covers the basic Panthers program including diamond time for games and practice, umpires for games, a tournament entry allowance, and our winter training program. See below for details of KMBA fees for this year.
2) Team Fees – this amount is set by each team individually depending on what the team decides they wish to do as far as additional training, tournaments, team gear, etc. Generally, team fees can range from approximately $200-$700 per year and are paid over and above the KMBA fees
3) Uniform, Equipment, and Incidentals – In addition to KMBA and Team fees, there are additional expenses to consider. Panthers families can expect to spend approximately $150-$200 on uniforms. Teams will have limited equipment available for shared use (eg. Team tee, bases, nets, etc.), but families should budget for individual equipment as needed (e.g. cleats, helmet, ball glove, batting gloves, bats, etc.). Families can also expect some travel expenses such as fuel to get to and from games and tournaments as well as food and hotel expenses for out-of-town tournaments.
